For your Keystone Summerland with AL-KO axles, the brakes and hub/drum assemblies will need to be upgraded as the magnets are no longer available for your application. You do not need to replace the axles, just the brake assemblies and hubs. I recommend the Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA which uses the 10" x 2-1/4" self-adjusting brakes, and the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K which is compatible with these brake assemblies and your axles. . view full answer...

I do have one solution that will work great. The Trailer Valet XL part # TVXL25 (for a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball) or part # TVXL2 (for a 2 inch hitch ball), would be exactly what you'd want. These easily allow you to maneuver a trailer around without a tow vehicle. These attach to the hitch ball and give you a handle to steer and a handle to crank the wheel around. If the number you found on the grease seal you pulled out of the hub was 473336 then that means the correct replacement seal is the part # RG06-050. This is commonly seen on the 3,500 lb axles but what also factors into this is that the 3,500 lb axle is one of the most popular axle capacities and 4,400 is not.
